You pay for an education, but earn the card. This has been the ideal that has driven me to structure my classes. The prices of my courses are for the education you receive.

Course fees will only cover course tuition, course materials and instructor time. Students will be required to pay for instructor travel, lodging, air/Nitrox/Trimix fills, location entry and charter fees for classes. Students will not be charged if going to Haigh Quarry or Pearl Lake. However, any destination outside a 60 mile radius from where I live, will require students to cover travel expenses. I do have discount agreements with a couple dive charter operators when teaching on their boats. Students will only need to cover my discounted rate (in addition to their own charter costs) if those charter operators are used. Instructor expenses will be covered equally by all class participants.

Any additional days required by the student, beyond that scheduled for the class, will incur a $150 per day fee for instructor time. The student(s) will also be responsible for any extra expenses listed above for the extra time needed.

In order to hold your place in a course, a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required. If you are unable to start the course after paying the deposit, your deposit will be good for any course within one year upon receiving your deposit.
