This class is designed to teach you the essential principles of operating a diver propulsion vehicle (DPV) or scooter. We will also cover the critical skills required when operating a scooter for recreational diving.

In addition to learning the fun of using a scooter, you will learn how to fix and maintain your scooter. This course will increase diver fun while reducing stress and diver risk.

Skills will focus on improving diver proficiency and awareness while scootering, scooter team communication, scooter buoyancy control, improving underwater communication, effective scooter risk evaluation and efficient dive planning.

This class consists of a minimum of 3 dives.

The tuition of this course is $150 and includes the materials and certification fee.

Equipment rental and quarry entrance fees are not included.
